Overview
The owners wanted a single open wet room: overhead rain, two wall sprays, a handheld and steam — all usable at once, all invisible except the brass. The room is one plane of stone, draining to a single slot, with the vanity floating dry at its edge.
The Challenge
Five simultaneous outlets on a standard residential service will starve each other to a dribble — and steam demands a sealed envelope the original framing couldn't give. The tile layout also left zero tolerance: every penetration had to land on a joint.
Approach & Solution
We looped the supplies, zoned the room across two thermostatic valves, and upsized the service to the house. The enclosure was reframed and sealed for steam, the floor poured to a single plane, and every brass penetration templated to the tile joints before stone was cut.
"Every reveal is perfect, every valve dialed in. They treat plumbing as part of the design."
