Overview
A carved-stone soaking tub as the room's sculpture, fed by a floor-mounted filler, beside a compact steam shower — a full spa sequence in a 1920s cottage footprint where nothing could move except the plumbing.
The Challenge
The slab couldn't be trenched where the filler needed to land, and the cottage vent stack gurgled audibly through the bedroom wall. Stone this heavy also needed support the joists couldn't give.
Approach & Solution
We cored the slab on diamond tooling for a sleeved supply to the exact filler point, re-vented the stack with acoustic isolation, and set the tub on a concealed steel cradle. Fill and drain tested three times — silent every time.
