Overview
The owners travel half the year, so the brief was protection first: whole-home filtration and softening for the stone and brass, recirculation for instant hot at five baths, and zoned leak detection with automatic shutoff they can check from anywhere.
The Challenge
A sprawling single-story plan meant long dead legs — minutes of cold water at the far bath — and fourteen risk points from ice makers to attic runs. The mechanical room was already full.
Approach & Solution
We built a compact plant wall — treatment, recirculation manifolds and the leak panel — in half the mechanical room, looped every bath for hot water in seconds, and placed sensors at all fourteen points on one monitored panel with auto-shutoff.
