Twelve Fixtures, One Calm Kitchen

Overview

A cook's kitchen with a showpiece calm: main and prep sinks, an articulated pot filler, filtered and instant-hot taps, ice, coffee, and a butler's bar with its own sink and chiller. Twelve water points, and from the room you see exactly four.

The Challenge

The pot filler and the prep sink sat on the same branch as the primary suite's shower — Friday dinner prep was stealing Saturday's shower pressure. The island also needed waste and vent without a single visible chase.

Approach & Solution

We re-zoned the house into kitchen and bath branches with a dedicated recirculation loop, vented the island through the floor structure, and gave the bar its own shutoffs. Filtration now feeds every drinking point from one plant the owners never see.
